Meet Our Mentors

  Toyin Jama BEng (Hons), PGCE (Maths), MSc, CITP

Toyin’s 25 years working career has spanned over three disciplines – Engineering, Education and IT.

She started off as an Electrical Engineer working for different Government departments for 8 years, during which she obtained her Master Degree in Engineering and gained Chartered Status in Electrical Engineer.

Due to Family Commitments she moved into Education for 5 years teaching Mathematics in secondary schools. As a teacher, she was able to set up Saturday and Summer schools teaching Mathematics, English and Science.

In the last 12 years, Toyin has been working as an IT Consultant for various companies in UK and USA like Pitney-Bowes, T-Mobile, GlaxoSmithKline, Pilkington Glass, BMC Software, Cadbury, AstraZeneca, Corus etc.

She is a Chartered IT Professional of British Computer Society and   the Director of ESAP Consultancy Ltd – an IT Training and Consultancy Company

 In her spare time Toyin has been involved in training and mentoring young people hence the birth of Fresh Start Mentoring Scheme.

She is married to Dr Joshua Jama and has three children ages ranging between 21 and 24 years currently pursuing careers in Media, Banking and Pharmaceutical Industries.

Mrs Magdalene Nkechi Meduoye – Masters in Education

I completed a BA in Home Economics with a Second Class Upper followed by an MA in Education. I have been teaching in different schools in Oxford and London. I have held different posts like Home and School link Coordinator, ICT Coordinator etc. During summer holidays, I was involved in setting up and supervising a play scheme. In my spare time I tutor various children preparing them for SATs in English and Mathematics.

I am driven by a passion that has continually shaped my attitude to human achievements in different sectors of society. I believe strongly in the ability of human beings to continue to improve with the use of helpful and useful tools. I have worked with individuals and organisations to improve on performances. The services I provide involves the provision of tips; telephone coaching sessions, group coaching sessions and workshops. I believe that the solutions to different productivity challenges need to be related to stated goals and carefully organised to ensure success.

I am excited and clearly determined to ensure that all the tools provided through the work that I am involved in, always serve the crucial need of our society to continue to improve and remain of the cutting edge, of all that is worth having in our society- sound educational achievement; effective ad successful businesses and strong families. Coaching is definitely the indispensable tool of the 21st Century.

I am blessed with 4 grown up boys – 2 computer scientists, a medical doctor and a pharmacist. This has given me first hand experience on how to help young people discover and maximize their potential
